My name is Amy. With over 10 years in Learning and Development, I specialize in instructional design and rapid eLearning development. 

In my current role, I create training courses for organizations who want to foster safe environments for vulnerable populations. Rolling out a training programs that will educate learners on how to best protect those in their care is a passion of mine. 

Embracing the principle of 'Less is more,' I approach eLearning development with a focus on streamlined workflows and processes, clear learning objectives, and effective team communication to ensure project success.

February 2022  - Present

Praesidium, Inc.

Sr. Learning and Development Specialist: 

LMS Administration: Manages LMS for 200,000 learners across various industries. Configures eLearning courses, creating learning paths, curricula, and certification criteria, assigning courses, tracking course performance. Collects and analyzes LMS data, generating reports and presenting insights to stakeholders. 

Project Management: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met, potential risks are minimized, and courses are functioning accurately.

Instructional Design/eLearning: Maintains course library of 400+ eLearning courses, troubleshooting courses and collaborating with technical support staff. Uses instructional design principles and methodologies including ADDIE and SAM adult learning theories. Creates custom training courses for internal and external stakeholders using rapid eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise, Storyline 360, Vyond).


November 2014 - February 2022

Praesidium, Inc.

eLearning Specialist: Provided technical support and customer service to clients through phone and Salesforce for course troubleshooting and LMS issues, closing 400 tickets per month. Maintained course library of over 200+ eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, and Adobe Photoshop. 


November 2009  - November 2014

FAA/DMS International

Instructional Designer: Redesigned the Federal Aviation Administration's management onboarding program as part of a remote team through a contract with DMS International. Developed 8 shorter modules (15-20 minutes each) to replace 4 longer courses (45-60 minutes each) using Articulate Storyline, Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word. This redesign led to a 50% reduction in course length and a 30% increase in learner engagement and completion rates. Gained valuable experience in communicating virtually, being part of a remote team.
